NeighborSeek ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website neighborseek.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your mobile phone number.

Information We Collect

When you use NeighborSeek, we may collect:

Name and phone number (when you submit a quiz or contact form)
Home search preferences (buyer/seller status, budget, neighborhood preferences)
Property address information you provide
Usage data such as pages visited and features used

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Match you with relevant neighborhoods and properties
Send you the information you asked for, such as your results summary by email
Connect you with a licensed real estate agent in your area
Power our AI assistant (Aria) to answer your real estate questions

Aria, our automated assistant

Aria is software, not a person and not a licensed real estate agent. When you chat with Aria, your messages, your quiz answers for the current city and the market figures on the page are sent to a third-party AI model provider (Anthropic) to generate the reply; we also use the same provider to write a short internal summary of a request for Chris. The provider processes that text to produce the response under its own terms (see anthropic.com/legal). Chat messages are sent without your name or contact details; the internal summary written after you submit a request includes your name and your answers, never your phone number or email. Aria can be wrong: it is not a substitute for a licensed agent, lender, inspector or attorney, and nothing it says is a forecast or a guarantee. Do not share financial account numbers or other sensitive details in the chat.

Calls, Texts, and Email

By submitting, you agree Chris Harris may call, text or email you, and may share your request and contact details with a licensed real estate agent in your destination market to help you.

Texts and calls come from Chris Harris personally, from his own phone, in response to your request. NeighborSeek does not send automated text messages. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. To stop texts or calls, tell Chris, or email us at the address below.

We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your number may be shared only with your designated real estate agent and as required by law.

Sharing of Information

Consent on our forms. Every form on NeighborSeek says: “By submitting, you agree Chris Harris may call, text or email you, and may share your request and contact details with a licensed real estate agent in your destination market to help you.” That agent is chosen for the market you are moving to, and only receives the details you gave us plus how you found the site.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Licensed real estate agents — to help fulfill your home search request
Referral agents — when you ask for help buying, selling or renting in a market where Chris Harris is not licensed (for example a move to another state or a military base in another state), we may share your request and contact details with a licensed real estate agent in that market so they can help you. Chris may receive a referral fee from that agent’s brokerage; it does not change your price or what you pay.
Service providers — such as Firebase (Google) for data storage and SendGrid for email delivery, who are bound by confidentiality obligations
Legal authorities — when required by law

We will never share your mobile phone number with third-party marketers or data brokers.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and browser storage to maintain your session and remember your city preferences. We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and see which pages people use; it does not tell us who you are.

Advertising and measurement tags. Some pages load the Google Ads tag (account AW-18203616299) and the Meta Pixel. These tags set cookies and may send Google or Meta the page you visited, a hashed identifier and, when you submit a form, the fact that a form was submitted (not your name, phone number or answers). We use them to measure which ads lead to a quiz or a request and, where enabled, to show NeighborSeek ads to people who visited the site (remarketing). You can opt out through Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser; the site works without them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
